Jennifer Hudson splits from her fiancé David Otunga after 10 years together.

After 10 years together Jennifer Hudson calls it quits and obtains a protective order which was “in the best interest for their son”, a spokesperson for Jennifer says. Hudson and Otunga have an 8-year old son together. In 2008, Otunga, the former pro wrestler proposed to Hudson after less than a year of dating, but they never tied the knot.

According to Otunga’s lawyer, the couple has been “negotiating terms of an amicable parenting agreement”. However, when it became clear to Hudson that Otunga would be granted residential care of the child while she pursues her music career around the world, she went and filed a Petition for Order of Protection in hopes to gain unfair advantage in the custody dispute.
