Do me a Favor- Save Money on your Favors!

We all know that weddings are based on traditions.  However- they’ve come a long way in terms of trends and taking a new spin on many old customs.  For example- i was in my cousin’s wedding party in 2011.  She really didn’t rely on Pinterest or Etsy as much as brides do today because they simply just weren’t top of mind options.  Now- there’s TOO MANY options and it can get overwhelming.

I mentioned traditions and customs.  At the end of every party it is a, “traditional custom” to walk away with something (i always thought walking away with a great meal and entertainment was enough…but thats just me!!)  Favors are a big part of throwing a party and we all know that a wedding is THE ultimate party.  I’m not BIG on favors.  Typically (in full disclosure) the wedding favors i receive typically end up in a junk drawer somewhere.  When i find them after cleaning- they do make me smile!  That’s why i feel like a photo booth is the best bet when it comes to favors and your wedding.  Not only is it entertaining and fun but your guests walk away with SOMETHING!  It is a keepsake that they will likely put on their fridge or with their other photo strips.  It’s definitely a two for one that will save you time, energy and $$$. Yes- i know many people do them now but it doesn’t mean that they’re any less fun.

If you really MUST have a favor for your guests but don’t want to break your budget (because- we all know- it’s all ready broken!)  From lottery tickets to mason jars and even GUM- the possibilities are endless.  Click here for 10 wedding favors you’d never guess cost under $1!
