Greetings Wedding People! Happy 2016. I am now 3 months away from the big day…i know..CRAY CRAY (i’m a poet- and i didn’t even know it.)
I figured at this point i’d provide you with a full list of my fabulous vendors. Many people are in the wedding planning process after the holiday engagement season and sometimes it’s just nice to see a quick list…I stand by every single one of these vendors- they have been nothing but fabulous and if you need any more info on them- contact them or contact me!
Dress: I found my dream dress at Alexandra’s Bridal Boutique in Fall River. I actually found it during the Allure trunk show. Trunk shows are great for brides who want a unique dress on trend but who don’t want to break the bank. It took me less than an hour to find my dress and it was legit one of the best days of my life.
Photography: Valentino Photography– when i posted on Facebook that i was looking for a wedding photographer several people immediately tagged Valentino in their comments. Thom and Bev are the best in the biz and you will be more than pleased with their vision and your result.
Reception Venue: Harbor Lights Marina & Country Club
My fiance and i wanted to choose a venue with a large dance floor and delicious food. Not only did Harbor Lights meet both of those requirements it was also a big deal for us to have our reception at a venue we’ve never attended a wedding at before. It’s settled on a sprawling golf course with a back drop of a nautical Ocean State-chic marina.
Flowers: Cherry Hill Flowers in Johnston. As someone who didn’t really wake up and, “smell the flowers” until i met Susan at Cherry Hill- i highly recommend! She legit took my vision from Pinterest and recreated it. I cannot wait to see the finished project. If you’re like me and aren’t fully versed in the world of floral- let Susan be your guide!
Transportation: Princess Limo. When i was shopping around for transportation i knew i needed something affordable and reliable. After doing some research PL met both of those requirements and their fleet is fab.
Photo-booth: Oh Snap Photobooth has a green screen so you can send them photo files that your guests will be all about! Plus you can use the photo print-out as favors!
DJ: Ulysses Gulman knows how to bring the party and his general vibe will put you in a better mood.
Save-The-Dates & Invitations: Vistaprint. At the end of the day invitations are paper. Make this one of your most frugal choices when it comes to your budget.
Sugar Mamas: I mean- how amazing is their name? Erin is one of the sweetest (no pun intended!) in the wedding biz. I’m not much of a cake person but i’m sure my guests are and cupcakes are a pretty amazing alternative to hit their sweet spot.
Miscellaneous:
For my decor i took full advantage of the fact that the, “Pinterest palace” aka Michael’s, AC Moore and Hobby Lobby are all within yards of each other and on my way home from work. My DIY projects are still to come in future posts. I am using Quality Rental for my table runners.
