Will you be My…Bridesmaid?

He popped the question…now it’s your turn!

Bridesmaids are an integral part of your bridal party.  They help plan your shower, they get cray with you at your bachelorette party and most importantly they’re there for you on the biggest day of your life.  There is really no rhyme or reason in how you pick the ladies (or bridesman) that will be standing by your side.  I think it’s always a safe bet to include family members- sisters, future sister-in-laws, those whose bridal parties you’ve been in.  I wanted to get my Pinterest on when i,”asked” my ladies to be in my party.  I had the girls over (all 8 of them) for a nice thirsty Thursday.

I made them shirts.  By, “made” i mean i went to Wal-art   and bought various sizes of plain black tank tops.  I then went over to A.C. Moore and bought iron on letters.  The directions for the iron-on letters say to wash the shirts before applying the letters- which i did. It really was cheaper than ordering shirts from Etsy or a similar website.  The shirts came out really cute (and this is coming from someone who was pretty craptastic at craft projects.

I also decided to give each Bridesmaid a ring pop as i was, “popping” the question with a, “ring” (but you understood that already.) I didn’t want to just throw a ring pop in the gift bag so i went to the Dollar Store and grabbed some little open gift boxes.  It was around Valentine’s Day so it fit the, “love” theme- but they always carry special open gift boxes like the ones i used.
